The location is great! Set in a lovely lane surrounded by fields and trees - very peaceful. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The staff were great and breakfast was good and set us up well for the day.

Very handy for visit to Leeds and family.

nothing not to like ..great from walking in the hotel to leaving the next morning staff very pleasant & helpful ..yes will be back & recommend to friends & family
-
Rude Staff, Rooms overlooking the courtyard where I had to edure 3 nights of wedding receptions, loud music until 12.30. Bedroom windows open approx 3ins and there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, hence the reason I had the worst stay in a hotel ever!
-
Rather better than your usual Holiday Inn.
They still think it's okay to charge for WiFi
-
It was cold We could not book the rooms we wanted on the internet We asked for a twin room for my mother and sister but were given a double with only one duvet There was no shower cap My mother could not get any soap
-
We stayed for my daughters wedding the. Staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful the wedding food was fab with good size portions and extras if needed.
Would have been nice to have a spa treatment etc

Facilities in room poor.Only 2 teabags and no biscuits, sliding doors on wardrobe hard to move. Writing desk but no writing paper, unable to access shower head above bath.room cold no heating. Towells were not changed . This certainly not a de-luxe room The hotel was overpriced, only stayed here because of family wedding, the prices shown on website.

The building is lovely and the interior has been nicely finished. The room was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Children eating free when adults eat is good but breakfast is expensive. I stayed here as a base to see my son nearby and he stayed with me in the room at no extra charge which is good.
I thought the breakfast at £9.95 was very expensive. There was plenty of variety including a full cooked breakfast but I only have cereal, tea and fruit juice to start the day so that was rather expensive. My young son ate for free which balanced things up a little but he doesn't each much either.

Friendly staff and convenient for our needs
Breakfast was a bit expensive at £13.00 each

Very handy for the Extreme Rally course that my wife was participating in (literally just down the road). Pleasant village of Tong is just a short walk away with an excellent pub - good food and real ale.
Beware of wedding functions! There was a wedding reception on the night we stayed, and the function room was on our floor (1st). Our room was very close by and we were concerned that the noise from the disco would be excessive. It turned out to be not too bad, but talking to other guests, they were not so lucky with their rooms. If staying again I would check if the function room is being used and ask for a room as far away as possible!
